Our aim is to provide personal support to people who already have sight difficulties and campaign to help all of us understand how we can protect our sight throughout our lives. Importantly, Cornwall Blind Association provides the support that blind and visually impaired people need to live fulfilling and active lives.

We regularly provide services annually to over three thousand people, (people have support as and when they need our assistance we are always looking to help more people. Our clients will have initial assessment of their vision, at one of our clinics, and get information and advice about other services that can help them be independent including; equipment, technology and benefits advice.
The association can help with transport for sight related medical appointments and to participate at clubs, we offer support through befriending, advocacy, counseling and talking support through our telephone service. We also have links to 25 social and leisure clubs and organise holidays for adults and children.
In order that we can provide our services throughout the community we now have Sight Centres in Truro and Penzance alongside resource centres in Bude, Bodmin, Wadebridge, Launceston, Liskeard, Saltash and Penzance. We also have information desks at Redruth, St Austell and Treliske Hospitals.
