“My first interview with you gave me the courage I needed to go forward. You demonstrated to me that life need not stop with sight loss and that there could be for me a constructive future with continuing independence. The range of technology you demonstrated to me helped me to appreciate the possibility of a quality of life for the future that I could never have anticipated”... Ruth. |
“Thank you for your encouragement and support. When I first lost my eyesight after the cancer operation, my family and I never thought I could live on my own again, let alone go back to work. After each visit to the Sight Centre, my prospects are getting brighter”... Jenny |
“...for an eye examination of my sight. I felt I must write to express my appreciation as I believe it is the most thorough one I have yet received. The magnifying glass you gave me to take home was completely beyond my expectations. I can now read quite clearly very small print – something I believed would never happen again. Also, it means that I can now read any article in the newspaper I wish. It has restored a lot of confidence. The information you gave my daughter was also very reassuring.”... Kenneth Bull |
