Cornwall Blind Association - Improving the lives of visually impaired people

Clubs and groups

Cornwall Blind Association acts as a link to at least 25 clubs for visually impaired people that are located across the county.

Local Groups play a valuable role within the local community, providing people with access to social opportunities, physical and health based activities.

Each of our clubs offers a friendly atmosphere where members can socialise with other like minded people. These clubs are managed and supported by volunteers who kindly give up their time regularly to provide these services.

There are a range of activities available to visually impaired people in Cornwall. These enable visually impaired people to take part in activities in a safe, secure and friendly environment allowing them to achieve a higher level of independence and hopefully make new friends. Some of these groups are organised by visually impaired people. We are always looking to develop additional activities and welcome suggestions for new groups.
