Cornwall Blind Association's FOR SIGHT APPEAL is an opportunity for everyone to support our work - either as a client, a volunteer or a fundraiser. Whether you are visually impaired or know someone who is - or you simply want to give something back - please get involed.

We aim to enable visually impaired people to live more confidently and independently, wherever they live in County. You can find out about our work at our Sight Centres, Resource Desks, Exhibitions and Taster Sessions.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

We rely on the support and dedication of volunteers. There are many different roles where you can use your skills and experience, meet new people, socialise, improve career options and build confidence whilst making a significant contribution to our work.

BECOME A FUNDRAISER

Whether you get your inspiration from your own fundraising ideas or from the Be Bright For Sight Calendar, we'll be able to help you build a fundraising activity around it. We will help you every step of the way; with ideas, advice, posters, tickets, press coverage and sponsorship forms.

A SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISING EVENT IN FOUR EASY STEPS

STEP ONE: DREAM IT

Whether you are inspired by our organised events or your own ideas - from tea parties to sponsored sky dives - let your imagination run wild.

STEP TWO: PLAN IT

Decide what you need to do to make your event successful and fun. Dont forget to tell us an we can help you along the way.

STEP THREE: DO IT

The key to a great event is to enjoy yourself. The more you have the more your guests will give.

STEP FOUR: FOLLOW IT UP

Everyone will be making a contribution so let them know how much they have helped raise. And don't forget to send us your photos!
