Dare to be Different and have the most amazing life changing night of your life!
While most of us are pulling on thick woolly socks to save our feet from the winter chills, two staff workers from the Cornwall Blind Association will be taking theirs off to walk over hot coals.
Despite being proud of their multi-coloured winter warmers, Kerry Keast, PA to the Chief Executive, and Jackie Southon, Fundraising Manager, won't be needing them to take part in the Cornwall Blind Association's Charity Firewalk at Bodmin Jail on March 19, 2010.
Firewalking is an ancient human ritual that which is now used for motivational training by multi-nationals such as Microsoft, American Express and Barclays. Even the former US President Bill Clinton has walked over fire!
"It's going to be the walk of a lifetime!" said Kerry. "We are a bit apprehensive about the whole thing, but I am sure it will be an experience we will never forget."
"We would like as many people to support us as possible," said Jackie. "After all it's only a 20-foot sponsored walk, if you forget about the burning coals!"
If anyone would like to sponsor Kerry or Jackie online go to www.justgiving.com/jackie-southon and make a donation.
To take part the Cornwall Blind Association needs a deposit of £20 to secure a place and then you receive your information pack there is a minimum fundraising target of £150.
