Cornwall Blind Association - Improving the lives of visually impaired people

Local cleaning company spreads the love this Valentines Day for Cornwall Blind Association’s For Sight Appeal.

A1 Green Clean Cornwall, a local cleaning company, convey messages of love this Valentines Day by selling and delivering roses to local businesses around St Austell.

They have come up with the plan as a novel way of raising funds for local charity, Cornwall Blind Association.

Shaun Bishop, Managing Director of the company said: "This is a fantastic offer for businesses such as local restaurants and hotels to get their roses in the weekend before Valentines and on the day itself.

"The roses come at a very competitive price of only £3 a stem, with all the proceeds going to the Charity.

"Cornwall Blind Association is a really worthwhile Charity to support because they change people's lives every day with their services such as benefits advice.

"Roll up, Roll up, buy your roses now!"

Cornwall Blind Association has been part of Cornish life since its foundation in 1856. The Charity aims to provide people who have been affected by sight loss with practical services and support so they can continue to lead independent, fulfilled lives.

Debbie Henshaw, Community and Events Fundraiser for Cornwall Blind Association, said: "This is a wonderful way of raising money and we hope that people support Shaun by buying his roses.

"If there is anybody out there with fun ways of raising money please get in touch to help us with our Be Bright For Sight Appeal by calling 01872 266709.
