Benefits Advice

Are you confused by all the benefits available? Do you know who to ask for advice? We provide an experienced Benefits Advisor, based at the Truro Sight Centre, who can assist you in claiming the benefits you are entitled to.

Benefits Application Forms

The Benefits Service is available to any visually impaired person in the county. We offer either a home visit or a Sight Centre appointment, where a benefits check can be carried out and the relevant application forms completed, on your behalf for the following benefits:

  •  Attendance Allowance
  • Bereavement Allowance
  • Carers Allowance
  • Child Tax Credits
  • Council Tax Benefit
  • Disability Living Allowance
  • Housing Benefit
  • Income Support
  • Job Seekers Allowance
  • Pension/pension Credits
  • Working Tax Credits

Advice can be given on other concessionary schemes.
